Please be aware that some companies offer a "budget" transfer service as seen below,  which in reality means a very low quality transfer. Below is a 16mm clip converted by a budget transfer method using a projector & 3CCD Camera  which is a widely used amateur method which should be avoided. Compare this to our HD transfers further down and the choice is clear!

This method has many failings including being focused incorrectly, it has flicker,
is unevenly light by the projector lamp so corners are dark, it is overly cropped in an attempt to mask this meaning up to 33% of the visible image is lost, it is also overexposed so many areas that should have detail are washed out, The resolution of the master copy is very low so subsequent editing and mastering to DVD will be poor.

Below in the larger window is the same clip via our HD Frame by Frame System.
It is a higher quality video so may take a moment to buffer.
You can view this in HD or SD by pressing play then adjusting the settings

We don't offer low quality transfers, all our transfers are done to the highest standards.
Even if you only want a regular DVD we still transfer your film at high definition for editing
and digital enhancements to be done. We then use this HD digital master to make your
chosen format. Be it DVD, Video, AVI, Blu-Ray, Quicktime etc.

Below is a full HD version as it would appear on your TV and shows low quality looks much worse on a big screen.

Above split screen shows what you are missing with some transfer methods!

(Note we also run the www.16mm.co.uk website so 16mm customers can find us too!)

Calll us free in the UK for advice and a quote. We convert any film type in a digital frame by frame process.
